Bourbon and Blood started off a little too slow for my taste yet I continued reading in hopes it would get better and it did. I found myself beginning to care what happened to Bill yet that feeling did not last long. True it was fast paced and things were happening quickly he had very little decision or choice as to what he did in the story. He had no clear goal or objective. Which I found a bit boring. I did read the entire story and was a bit upset at the ending I felt as if I was being setup for this dramatic climax or some sort of double cross only for the story to just abruptly end. Probably would not read another title by this author.
