This is my second read by this author and I am not disappointed at all. In my opinion sequels rarely live up to the predecessor what some might call the sophomore jinx. Well, Fanita Moon Pendleton dispelled that myth. Fist Full of Tears the Sequel was on point. Picking up where the first left off it was like watching part 2 to a movie. Even after reading the characters are still with you. I really enjoyed these two titles. I can't front I was feeling Joslyn was wishing I could have seen her put her gangster down a little harder, but it's all good. Love your work Fanita, keep doing your thing.
